Student Agreement

    * I agree to work consistently and steadily to complete this course.

    * I agree to submit assignments as required by my Instructors.

    * I agree to work through the modules in the order in which they are presented.

    * I agree to actively participate in online discussions.

    * I agree that I will strive for an understanding of the CDF concepts and their practical application.

    * I agree to attend the required face-to-face modules and understand that there may be additional expenses as a result of traveling to the designated location.

    * I agree that I have access to the appropriate technology needed to complete this course (high speed Internet access, email, phone line).

    * I agree that I will save and back up all homework assignments to my computer, maintain a copy of all that I sent to my instructors and will allow appropriate lead time for unforseen technical problems.

    * I agree to contact my instructors when I am feeling overwhelmed or frustrated with the course or as other significant issues arise.

    * I agree that I will not copy, share, or otherwise violate copyright restrictions of the course materials.

    * I agree that I will do my own work, cite sources, and not plagiarize.

    * I agree to abide by the CDF Code of Ethics.

    * I am aware of how to obtain the GCDF credential through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). If I choose to apply for the GCDF credential, I understand that there is an application fee and a yearly maintenance fee that I will be responsble to pay.

    * I understand the importace of professional affiliations, obtaining continuing education units, and being a lifelong learner.

    * I agree to fairly evaluate my instructors and this course.

    * I agree that I will respect my instructors' communication policy.
